We provide all riders with quality riding gear such as saddles, safety hats and tacks. We have a strict rule that all riders must wear safety hats as riders' safety is our prime concern. Our team of capable and certified horsemen and horsewomen will accompany riders throughout all rides, with the strictest instructions to ensure riding safety under all circumstances.

We welcome you to ride with us ! Before booking your ride, please take a moment to ascertain your riding experience and skill level, as well as our rules and regulations.

For the safety and enjoyment of our guests, all riders are required to inform us of their riding abilities by selecting one of the following levels as stated below:

INEXPERIENCED

Never ridden before.

BEGINNER

Have had some riding experience, but have never had lessons with an instructor.

NOVICE

Have had lessons with a qualified instructor and I am aware of all basic riding requirements. However, not a regular rider and have not ridden for some time.

EXPERIENCED

A certified horseman, skilled in all basic horse knowledge and riding techniques.

Riding Rules and Regulations

Our prime consideration is the safety and well-being of rider and horse. Booking of rides is accepted only upon the rider's agreement to:

Participate in an assessment of riding ability

Abide by the decision of the trail-leader to allocate the horse deemed most compatible with the rider's skill level

Wear a helmet at all times during the ride

Follow the instructions of the trail-leader at all times

Stay within the pace dictated by the trail-leader - this will be restricted to a walk, trot or controlled canter

Understand that under no circumstances will an extended canter or gallop be permitted

Ride on a lead-rope (children and inexperienced riders)

Island Horses Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to cancel or terminate any ride on grounds of safety, and/or for those who fail to adhere to the above-stated rules. Please also note that riding locations may vary, depending on season and weather conditions.

Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Deposit
• A deposit is required to secure your booking.

• ⁠Deposits are non-refundable, but you may reschedule with at least 24 hours notice.

2. Balance Payment
• The balance payments must be made before the ride begins (online or on arrival)

3. Cancellation & Refunds
• Cancellation made within 24 hours of the ride, or no shows are non-refundable.
• ⁠If Island Horses cancels due to weather, horse health, or safety reasons, you may choose a full refund or reschedule to another available date.

4.Guest information
• Guest must provide accurate details, including body weight, riding experience, and health conditions. (Please note: For the welfare of our horses and rider safety, the maximum rider weight is 80kg. Riders exceeding this limit may not be able to join the activity, and payments are non-refundable if incorrect information is provided.)
• ⁠If incorrect information is provided that affects horse welfare or riders' safety, Island Horses reserves the right to refuse service.
• ⁠In such cases, all payments (deposit and balance) are non-refundable.

5. Waiver Notice
• All riders are required to complete a waiver form before participating in any riding activity. Participation is strictly at the rider's own risk.
